AMA is the first in India to offer Photometric Testing of the entire range of Airfield Lighting including PAPIs and Approach Lights. Some of the Approach Lights are very difficult to access as they are on high masts, outside the airport boundary at the 27 and 14 Ends and into the Mithi River at the 32 End.

AMA owns two Photometric Measurement Systems – CALIBER and Frame Reader. Both are supplied by the market leader, Naksys of France, who has provided excellent support since the past decade.

MIAL was the first airport to commission AMA to conduct a comprehensive photometric test of the Airfield Lighting System at CSI Airport.

AMA has entered into contract with MIAL for carrying out repeat tests twice more in 2017-18.
